Linmindu Conducts On-site Training for Lithium Battery Manual Batching System

To guarantee accuracy and traceability in the lithium battery batching process and help customers improve on-site management, the technical team of Changzhou Linmindu Measurement Technology Co., Ltd. recently delivered special on-site training for the manual batching system at the customer’s production site.

The training combined equipment introduction, process demonstration, hands-on practice and Q&A sessions. Batching operators and production line managers from the customer attended the session.

Our engineers first introduced the composition of the manual batching system, which consists of a touch screen terminal, high-precision weighing scale, barcode scanner, label printer and three-color warning light. The touch screen displays real-time data including material name, target weight, actual weight and tolerance range.

As lithium battery batching requires extremely strict precision for cathode, anode, conductive agent and binder, wrong materials or out-of-tolerance weight will directly affect battery capacity, consistency and safety. The system adopts a dual error-prevention mechanism: barcode verification + weight check, to avoid wrong feeding, missing feeding and overweight issues. The whole batching process is controlled and fully traceable.

Then the standard operation workflow was demonstrated step by step:

1. Log in and scan the work order QR code. The system loads the task and material list automatically.
2. Scan material labels to verify material name and batch number before weighing.
3. Place the material on the weighing platform. The system compares actual weight against target value. A green prompt appears for qualified weight; the warning light turns on once the weight exceeds tolerance.
4. Print and attach the label after each material weighing (one label per material). All records are uploaded automatically after submission for later checking in homogenization and coating processes.

During hands-on practice, customer operators took turns to operate the system. Engineers guided them on scanning, material placement and abnormal handling. The three-color light rules were clarified: green for qualified, yellow for underweight reminder, red for out-of-tolerance alarm. Operators are not allowed to skip or force confirmation for alarms.

In the Q&A session, we discussed solutions for power failure, label printing failure and work order adjustment. Our team provides long-term remote and on-site technical support.

This training helps the customer master the closed-loop workflow: scan → weigh → record → trace. The customer will achieve higher batching accuracy and better batch traceability for stable battery quality.
